Burglar Steals $101K In Jewelry After Climbing Through Window Of Philadelphia Home

Police are looking for the man who slipped into a Philadelphia home late at night and left with six figures worth of jewelry.

Central Detective Division is seeking the public's help identifying the individual seen in the following video clip.

It happened in Society Hill around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, city police wrote in a release. The suspect climbed into the kitchen window of a home on the 600 block of Spruce Street, according to investigators. 

Surveillance footage released by police shows the suspect walking through the neighborhood. 

Detectives say he made off with about $101,000 worth of jewelry. He is described as a balding black man with a beard and a mustache. 

Anyone with information is asked to call PPD at 215-686-8477 or submit an anonymous tip on the department's website.
